Rockblogster – The Soundtracks of Our Lives

Rockblogster is a running commentary of Rock and Pop happenings starting in 1963 when the music started to get interesting again.  Rock and Roll had had its first eruption in the mid 1950s and Elvis seemed to have run his course – a distant thunderer.  The Crooners crooned on to older audiences.  The Baby Boomers were starting to explore the world beyond football during the cold wet winters and cricket in the long hot summers DownUnder.  Suddenly there was Surf Music and girls and fun.  And Herb Alpert.  Read on we will take you through the 60s and the early 70s in UK, the USA and Australia, bringing musical recollections and old grainy news stories.  It’s not that important but it might be!
