Adelaide Record Fair

The Adelaide Record Fair, coinciding with Record Store Day and held on the Easter Weekend of 19 April at St Bede’s Hall  Semaphore was a great success. There were about 25 local sellers and 50 tables of sale stock – including vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, music books, magazines and collectibles.  We were kept pretty busy from the time doors opened at 10 am until about 3 pm when the punters drifted off – probably to get a better look at the Kite Flying Exhibition on the Semaphore Pier.

This was a great community event presented by Vic Flierl of Mr V Music 115 Semaphore Road Semaphore 5019.  After the success of the event, some of the boys were thinking about running another independent fair later in the year, but we will wait and see what the rumour mill brings at the Musicpalooza Fair in July.
