Semaphore Record Fair – 19 April 2015 – See You There
18 April 2015
Dave Grohl is the official Ambassador for Record Store Day held world-wide on 18 April 2015, but in Adelaide it’s different in a number of ways. That’s right, Mr V, the unofficial Record Store Day Ambassador is presenting another record fair extravaganza to support Record Store Day, but it’s on Sunday 19 April. So turn up to St Bede’s Hall between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm at 200 Military Road Semaphore, our usual haunt. There is always heaps to check out – quality vinyl and some not so quality (let’s get fair dinkum about this), CDs, DVDs, comics, magazines, books, posters – the Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Entry to this fabulous event is FREE. There will be about 25 traders and 50 tables of stock for sale.
The weather is scheduled to be fine. The shops along Semaphore Boulevard will be open for trade. Food and beverages will be available as usual at St Bede’s and there are plenty of venues on the Boulevard. And when you’re not at the fair you can drift down to the beach or the pier, maybe have a coffee or two, watch the sea gulls and then return for another fossick at the fair.
You can check out the list of Record Store Day releases in the attached pdf, downloaded from the official RSD Site. RSD_2015_RELEASES_WEBSITE
There’s a few albums I would like to get hold of starting with the Animals, The Kinks, The Pretty Things and Miles Davis.
See you on Sunday 19 April. White Elephant Records and Graham will be near the side door closest to the car park at St Bede’s.
