Easter Monday – Semaphore Record Fair #14

The first major Record Fair for 2018 is scheduled for Easter Monday 2nd April at Semaphore courtesy of Mr V Music.  Easter brings autumnal weather and pleasant sea breezes along the Semaphore shores.  The fair will be held at the venerable St Bede’s Hall, 200 Military Road just short of Semaphore Road with its street cafes and view of the bay.  Doors are open from 9am until 4pm in the afternoon although we know people sneak in as soon as they can to seek out bargains and loot.  Entry is free and the site is accessible for prams and wheelchairs.

Approximately 30 traders will have 50 tables of stock for sale, including vinyl records, CDs, DVDs, music books & magazines, souvenirs, T-Shirts and more.

The friends of St Bede’s Parish run an excellent canteen so you can invigorate yourself after digging through the crates with coffee, tea, cakes and the humble meat pie.  Say Hello to Louise who runs the canteen.

Down to business.  At White Elephant Records we have been going through the archives and shelves to bring something old and new to the Fair.  So, with heavy heart, many Australian artists have been selected from the collection along with many internationally renowned groups and singers.  The majority of albums are in Mint or Near Mint condition.

Absent Friends, AC/DC, Band Of Horses, Jimmy Barnes, Bluestone, David Bowie, B-52s, Richard Clapton, Ry Cooder, Elvis Costello, Crowded House, Icehouse, Mick Jagger, Van Morrison and Willie Nelson and HEAPS MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!

See you there.
